On 24 August, Google released a new and improved way for publishers to view their video content consumption through Google Ad Manager 360.

Content Explorer Beta is a tool available to Google Ad Manager 360 video publishers that use content ingestion and first-party audience segments. If you are a GAM 360 publisher and want access to this feature, contact your account manager or reach out to MonetizeMore.

The Content Explorer provides publishers with a visual demonstration of video content viewed by users. Information is grouped according to relevant data such as metadata and content bundles. With this tool, publishers can explore their data and present it to advertisers to reach targeted audiences easier.

Publishers can gain quick data insights on top video content. With the Content Explorer, it’s easy to see the top performing video content, devices most frequently used by users, the connection between content types and audience segments, or simply discover inventory left to sell.

Accessing the Content Explorer is very easy:

Go to Google Ad Manager > Video > Content Explorer

Additional features

Google also announced additional features for the Content Explorer that will be released in the coming months.
