Run of Network targeting in Google Ad Manager means it impacts the entire inventory within that GAM account. If you have multiple publishers or domains using the same GAM account, all of them are being targeted. If this is not intentional, here’s how to fix it:
1. Run a report to find out which of the line items are inadvertently targeting all inventories.
a. Log into GAM
b. Go to Reporting > Reports
c. Report type: historical
d. Set the date range and filters as needed
e. Dimensions: Line item, Ad Unit
f. Metrics: Total impressions
2. Notice any Line Item targeting Ad Units when it’s not supposed to
3. Open the Line Item in question (Delivery > Line items)
4. Fix targeting. Target only the relevant sections of the inventory as needed.
