Prevent ad setup policy violations by targeting the following ad unit to serve only on mobile devices

• A desktop unit is serving on mobile
• A mobile unit is serving on desktop

Troubleshooting

Step 1: Validate if this was intentional. Be mindful of Google Policies on ad placements:

Step 2: Open your PubGuru header bidding configuration and audit the device dropdown per ad unit

Step 3: If you have an off-page + responsive setup, when adding the ad unit twice, the device needs to be specified for each and corresponding Placement IDs/parameters added:

Step 4: If you have an on-page setup, check that device detection codes are set to properly load the ads based on the device

Remove any ad unit in the configuration that should not be part of the ad map.

Tips:

• Do not run 300×50, 300×100, 320×50, or 320×100 on desktop. Instead, maximize your ad revenue by removing the mobile sizes and adding common desktop sizes like 300×250, 300×600, or 728×90.
