Bigger things are coming in 2016 to the advertising industry! As Ad Optimizers, if we could wish for a list of new ad optimization strategies and tools for the new year, this would be that list:
1) Uncomplicated header bid solution signup and setup
Take it from Einstein: “Make things as simple as possible, but not simpler.” Header bid solutions technology is new to the ad industry. They’re just starting to gain traction among publishers and could be complicated in the beginning. What may complicate things further is the signup process. Ad Networks have been very stringent in the screening process, requiring a certain volume and quality of traffic before deeming a publisher eligible. This varies per ad network.
The setup is also unique per ad network. Some networks simply ask for the ad server access, then jump in and complete the entire setup. However, other ad networks require publishers to implement it themselves.
Hence we wish for a header bid solution that doesn’t take too much time and effort just to see results. The more header bid ad networks we add competing in the stack, the better the numbers revenues we should earn.. It’s a win-win.
