Frequently Asked Questions

Looking for help with MonetizeMore? Here are some common questions we've been asked.

How are payouts computed?

Payouts are computed based on the revshare agreed between the publisher and MonetizeMore. For example:

  • Payouts are computed based on the revshare agreed between the publisher and MonetizeMore. For example: If the agreement is 85/15, 85% of the gross revenues will be paid to the publisher. Apart from this, there may be other deductions (if applicable) such as traffic cop, wire fees, finance charge (for payments made in advance), ad network payments directly received by the publisher, and clawbacks. These charges/deductions will all be reflected in the monthly Statement of Account.

What does “payment terms” such as net 30, net 45, and net 60 mean

  • Payment terms reflect the timing of payments to the publishers as per the signed contract
  • Net 45 – processed 45 days after the reporting month ended
  • For example, revenue earned for the month of July 2021 is processed Sep 15, 2021 for net 45 agreement

Why does the report in app.pg show different than the payments we received?

The report in the app.pubguru shows all the revenues from all Ad Networks run by the publisher, while the statement of account shows the Ad Networks that MonetizeMore manages on the publisher’s behalf.

Deductions and other charges are also not reported in the Ad Network report within app.pubguru, hence the discrepancy from the actual payments received.

What are the payment options available?

  • Ach, Paypal, eCheck and Wire transfer.

  • eCheck or global ACH – A form of transfer, whereas, money is electronically withdrawn from the payer’s checking account, transferred over the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network, and then deposited into the payee’s checking account. An eCheck is a type of electronic funds transfer (EFT) that relies on the ACH network to process payments. Funds are electronically withdrawn from the payer’s account, sent via the ACH network to the payee’s banking institution, and then electronically deposited into the payee’s account.

Wire transfers are also well equipped to handle the vagaries of cross-border transactions.

Yes. You can change the payment method anytime but we suggest to do it at least 5 days before the payment is due to avoid delay or non-receipt of your payout (ie. for Net 30 payments, make changes by the 25th of the month)

What to do in case of delayed payment or non receipt?

  • MonetizeMore can track down the payment by eitherSWIFT (takes 3-5  days), or TRACE (chargeable service) which takes from 20-30 days.
  • SWIFT and TRACE both are legal documents stating that the funds were sent out to the payee. Once we have the TRACE / SWIFT, the payee can take it to their bank and ask for their payment. Their bank should be able to locate the funds.
  • MonetizeMore can also try to recall the funds but recalls are never guaranteed and the time it takes heavily depends on the responsiveness of the beneficiary’s bank

  • Alternatively, MonetizeMore can open a wire investigation to track the payment. We can also opt to recall the payment where our bank will contact the recipient’s bank to return the funds to us. This process can incur additional fees and will also depend on the responsiveness of the beneficiary bank.

Why are there adjustments after payments have been made?

Some information may come to light after the payment has been processed, such as clawback reports from the Ad Networks. Clawbacks are deductions or adjustments from the ad network’s payment due to invalid activity and/or policy violations. These may take between 30-90 days to be confirmed by the ad network but these adjustments will be reflected in the nearest payout cycle after the report is received.

We received a different amount compared to the amount in the statement of account. Why is that so?

The payment process is always the same in the SOA. Discrepancy could be a result of fees charged by your financial institution

We want to receive the payment earlier than the scheduled terms. Is that possible?

  • This requires internal approval and an additional finance charge if received. Approval is received on a case by case basis.
  • Currently, the finance charge is .1% of the net revenue per day. For example, the publisher paid net 30 wants to receive their payout 20 days early. It is computed as ( Net revenue x .1% ) x 20 days.
  • At least 10 days advance notice is required to process the request.
